6 CFP FOR ARCHITECTS

A day of discussion on the role of color, sport, and design in the transformation of contemporary public space.

THE CONFERENCE

Sport, color, and design as tools for urban regeneration.

Sport is a driving force and catalyst for urban regeneration, social inclusion, and the enhancement of local communities. Sports courts, playgrounds, sports plazas, and public spaces are no longer simply places for physical activity, but infrastructures capable of shaping identity, improving quality of life, and fostering new forms of social interaction.

Within this context, Colori Urbani is a project promoted by Bolina Ingegneria, DO MORE, and Mapei, proposing a new interpretation of color as a design and functional element capable of transforming surfaces and urban spaces into recognizable, accessible, and vibrant places.

Organized by Sport&Impianti at Mapei Stadium, the conference represents the first public forum dedicated to these themes, bringing together institutions, public administrations, designers, industry representatives, and the academic community.

The aim is to promote a new model for cities, in which sport, color, technology, and the quality of public space become tangible tools for urban regeneration, local development, and the creation of increasingly inclusive and sustainable services.

WHERE COLORI URBANI COMES FROM

From design experience to a new culture of color.

COLORI URBANI grew out of DO MORE’s experience, a creative studio specializing in the design and implementation of interventions for urban, sports, and recreational spaces.

Working closely with places, materials, and people on a daily basis has led us to view color from a broader perspective: not simply as an aesthetic component, but as a tool capable of influencing perception, shaping identity, and transforming the experience of space.

From this awareness, COLORI URBANI was born: a project dedicated to research, in-depth exploration, and the dissemination of color culture, open to dialogue with international experiences, disciplines, and references.

URBAN COLLECTION brings together a selection of interventions created by DO MORE and represents the connection between research and application: projects in which color, design, and technical expertise take shape in space.

TECHNICAL PARTNER

Global expertise, technical support, shared vision.

The collaboration with MAPEI, an international group and a global leader in Resilient and Sport Line systems, represents a strategic asset that supports COLORI URBANI’s growth and the development of increasingly significant and complex interventions.

The collaboration goes beyond product supply: specialist consultancy, substrate analysis, definition of application systems, and selection of the most appropriate solutions support the different stages of each project, combining DO MORE’s creative vision with MAPEI’s research, innovation, and technical expertise.

MAPEI is also the Technical Partner of COLORI URBANI, extending the collaboration into research and design culture and exploring the relationship between color, materials, surfaces, and urban space.

Design vision and technical expertise come together to transform color into a structural, identity-defining, and enduring element of the project.
